Classes utilise the ballet barre, Pilates balls, resistance bands and your own body weight in repetitive movements designed to get the heart rate up and build some serious muscle. Expertly guided by our instructors, you can take things at your own pace or push your limits just that little further. Each class methodically moves through exercises designed to activate key muscle groups and get your heart rate up without putting any undue pressure on your joints. Every movement can be modified to suit any fitness or mobility level. We recommend bringing water and a towel.

Barre classes in our Gold Coast studio are truly a complete body workout. Each movement is conducted with your feet in various positions, so you literally tackle each muscle from multiple angles.

With a focus on isometric movements (think squeezing and pulsing with intention to activate specific muscles) and balance postures, you will develop functional strength and defined muscles while building endurance. Since you’re activating your core muscles through the entire class, you’ll begin to notice improvements in your posture and a reduction in pain associated with poor core strength.
